Molly is one of our fantastic founders. Molly and two other friends developed the organization from an idea at Dragon Express to the ever expanding group of strong women that it is today. She was the first vice-president of the organization, and then became the second president. Molly greatly contributed to the growth and vision of OWLs that still continues. While on campus, Molly was an RHA representative, the RHA secretary, a member of Wolt/Emmons and Wheeler Hall Councils, an RA in Wheeler Hall, an academic orientation mentor, among other involvements. Our former president is now living in the Metro-Detroit area working as a domestic violence/sexual assault victim’s advocate. On October 21st, 2006 Molly married Jacob Krycka.
Loni is originally from Saginaw, Mi and graduated from CMU in May 2005 with a degree in Organizational Communication and Marketing. While on campus, Loni was involved in many organizations and was a Resident Assistant. She was also the OWLs Vice President from February 2004 to May 2005. Loni enjoyed the organization because she loved being involved with women who had the same goals and aspirations. Loni is now a Graduate Assistant of Student Leadership in the Department of Housing and Residence Life at Texas Tech University. As a life-long learner, Loni plans to pursue her Doctorate after graduating from Texas Tech in May 2007. Her goal is to eventually become a Vice President of Student Affairs or President of a university.
Alison was an active member of OWLs since the very beginning and continued her involvement for three years. While on campus, Alison was an Academic Orientation Mentor, an Honors facilitator, a Resident Assistant, involved with hall council, and she was a Leadership Safari guide. Alison is now finishing up her student teaching and will graduate in May 2007. She then plans to move out of state and pursue her career in Special Education.
Kelli was a member of OWLs from Fall 2004 to Spring 2006. She majored in Elementary Education, specializing in math and language arts, and she is now student teaching first graders in Alpena, MI. Kelli’s favorite thing about OWLs was meeting with a great group of strong women every week and motivating each other. Kelli also made some great friends in the organization, especially Ms. Terra Osborn. While on campus, Kelli was the Social/Recruitment Chair for OWLs, and Academic Orientation Mentor, a member of Kappa Delta Pi, and an Resident Assistant.
